Last week we were sitting in the store discussing a few things and one thing that popped up was that we have not done a Facebook Giveaway in a while. That sparked some ideas and then we came up with a great game!

As you know we change watch batteries on site as the customer waits, well you can only imagine how many watch batteries we have on our watch bench waiting to be sent in to be recycled. We took a small disposable drinking cup and we filled it up with watch batteries! Once we filled the cup up we started laughing because now someone had to count how many watch batteries were in the cup… you guessed it, I had to count them. After I counted the watch batteries, all 443 of them, it was time to start our game!

This game was going to be a guessing game. We gave everyone the opportunity to guess on how many watch batteries were in the cup. They didn’t have to guess the exact number, just get within 25 watch batteries of the actual count. Now that we had the game figured out, time to pick a prize. We had just the prize, a FOSSIL Watch with a blue dial. Time to get this game rolling!

There were some fun guesses and some really CLOSE guesses! No one actually guessed the number exactly but there were 8 people that guessed within the actual count. The  8 people were:

After we announced the people that were in the drawing, we wrote all the names on a pieces of paper and tossed them into a bowl. Richard drew a name from the bowl and Lee Page from China Grove, NC won the watch! Lee stopped by the store later in the afternoon and picked up his FOSSIL Watch!
